Every new-client call answered. No advice given.
Someone who has just been in an accident calls the first firm that picks up. 12² builds an intake desk for your phone and website that takes the details an attorney needs, records the names for a conflict check, and sends it to your team tonight.
This fills in as the call goes on.
The demo follows a fixed script so you can see the flow. Your build uses your practice areas, your intake questions and your call-back rules.
The first firm to answer usually gets the client.
Trouble doesn't wait for Monday
Accidents, arrests and bad news arrive at night and at weekends. A voicemail greeting sends that caller to the next firm on the list.
Half the details, written three ways
Each receptionist asks different questions. The assistant asks yours, in your order, and writes them down the same way every time.
Attorney time spent on the wrong calls
You set the practice areas and the questions. Matters outside them are noted and routed, without a lawyer picking up the phone.
It takes the facts. An attorney gives the advice.
What it handles
- New-client intakeWho is calling, what happened, when, and how to reach them, in the format your team wants.
- Conflict-check detailsIt asks for the other party's name and records it for your team to check. It doesn't run the check.
- Call-back schedulingIt offers the times you allow and tells the caller when to expect the call.
- Messages for existing clientsTaken, written down and sent to the right person's team.
What it never does
- Give legal adviceIt won't say whether someone has a case, what it's worth or what they should do. It says an attorney will answer that.
- Create an attorney-client relationshipIt tells callers that contacting the firm doesn't make them a client, in the words you approve.
- Talk about deadlines or outcomesIt records dates for the attorney and makes no statement about time limits or results.
- Pretend to be a personIt says it is an automated assistant at the start of every call and chat.
We haven't shipped this for a law firm yet.
So there are no firm names or intake numbers on this page, and we won't invent any. Your bar's rules on advertising, intake and confidentiality govern what the assistant may say; you approve every script before it takes a call, and you get a written list of every provider that touches caller information.
What we can show you is the demo above and the software 12² builds and runs every day: Fieldcam, HailScan and Codes&More. Your build is tested against your own real calls, and you accept it before the final payment.
from $3,500AI Front Desk with intake, for phone and web chat. Intake builds cost more than the base price because of the scripting and review; your quote states the figure. Phone minutes and AI usage are billed at cost.
- Fixed, in writingScope, delivery date and price are agreed before work starts. Half at kickoff, half when you accept it.
- You own itThe accounts, phone number, scripts and data sit in your name. You can leave at any time.
- Care plan optionalFrom $400 a month for monitoring, fixes and a usage report as your hours, prices and staff change.
Straight answers.
Could it be taken as giving legal advice?
It is built to refuse. Asked whether someone has a case, it says only an attorney can answer and offers to take their details. You approve the exact wording before launch.
How is caller information kept confidential?
Before the build starts you get a written list of every AI and software provider that would touch caller information, so you can check it against your own obligations. The accounts are in your firm's name.
Does it connect to our case management software?
That depends on the software. We check on the first call. If it can't be connected, intakes arrive by email in a fixed format your team can paste or file.
What do callers hear?
A short greeting that says they've reached the firm's automated assistant and that it can't give legal advice, then the intake questions. They can ask for a person at any point.
