12² AI (12squared.ai) — Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026
12² AI is a service operated by William Addis, an individual and sole proprietor. It is not a corporation or limited liability company. In this document, "we" and "us" mean William Addis. This policy covers 12squared.ai, its demos and games, and the 12² account hub. Fieldcam, HailScan, Codes&More and Photo Mosaic each have their own privacy policies.
1. What we collect
- Contact and inquiry forms: the topic you choose, your name, business, email address and message. We also record your IP address and the time you submit, to block spam. The form contains a hidden anti-spam field and records how long the form took to fill in.
- Account sign-up: email, password (handled by our authentication provider; never stored in plain text), name and organization name. This also covers which 12² products your account can use.
- Billing: subscription and Stripe customer references. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- Technical data: IP address and standard request information, used for security and rate limiting.
- Demos and games: some demos and games save progress or sample entries in your browser's local storage on your own device. That data is not sent to us. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on 12squared.ai.
2. How we use it
We use this information to respond to inquiries, create and manage accounts, provide access to products, process payments, send service and notification emails, and protect the Service from abuse. We do not sell or share your personal information (as those terms are defined under California law), and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use facial recognition or create scans of face geometry or other biometric identifiers from photos.
3. Who we share it with
- Supabase: authentication and account data.
- Stripe: payments.
- Resend: email delivery. For example, inquiry notifications and account emails.
- Cloudflare: network delivery and protection; all traffic passes through it.
- Our hosting provider.
- Others, only when required: we may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or in a business transfer.
Links to outside sites, such as our Facebook page, are governed by those sites' policies.
4. Retention
We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up. We keep account data while the account is active. We keep billing records as required for accounting and legal purposes.
5. Security
We use reasonable measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Your choices
To access, correct or delete your information, email [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights; we will respond as the law requires.
7. Children
The Service is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
8. Do Not Track
We do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above.
